Organic Matter: Blue Diamond/Nonconformist Drop Earrings

Stone(s): One, 4.0 mm, rose cut blue diamond per earring. 

Material(s): Asymmetrical shapes are oxidized sterling silver (.925). French hooks and detailing are 18K yellow gold. Blue diamonds are set in 18K yellow gold bezels. A set of rubber earring backs are included.

Measurement(s): 2 1/2" long and 1/2" wide. 

Description/Artist Notes: One of a kind, statement piece. 

Colored diamonds are colorless when mined from the earth. They then undergo a treatment called irradiation, to permanently create the colored diamond. Irradiated diamonds are not radioactive and will not fade. The enhancement does not affect the price and is an affordable option compared to naturally occurring colored diamonds, which are extremely rare.
