Organic Matter: Blue Diamonds/Curvaceous Rivet Cuff Bracelet

Stone(s): Six, rose cut irradiated blue diamonds measuring 4.0 mm (1), 3.8 mm (1), 3.0 mm (1), and 2.0 mm (3).

Material(s): Cuff is oxidized silver (.925) with nine, 14K rose gold accent rivets. Diamonds are set in 18K yellow gold bezels.

Measurement(s): 5.0" circumference. 1 1/2" wide. 

Adult size extra-small: 5 1/4" - 5 3/4" wrist circumference.

Description/Artist Notes: One of a kind, statement piece.

The technique used to create this bracelet is called anticlastic forming. Starting with a flat piece of metal, the convex curves are formed using hammers and stakes. 

For the rivets, holes are drilled and 14K rose gold is inserted and melted on each side. 

Colored diamonds are colorless when mined from the earth. They then undergo a treatment called irradiation, to permanently create the colored diamond. Irradiated diamonds are not radioactive and will not fade. The enhancement does not affect the price and is an affordable option compared to naturally occurring blue diamonds, which are extremely rare.
