Gilded: Rivet/Double Rectangle Layered Drop Earrings

Material(s): Small rectangles are 24K yellow gold vermeil. Large rectangles are high polished sterling silver (pictured) or oxidized sterling silver (.925). One, 18K yellow gold accent rivet per earring. A set of rubber earring backs are included. 

Measurement(s): 1.0" long and 3/8" wide.

 Description/Artist Notes: Vermeil is a type of gold finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns. 

The two layers of rectangles are attached at the french hooks only, allowing for movement. The gold vermeil rectangles are hammered by hand for texture and depth, creating a unique pattern.
